Dear Sir,

The Ministry of Reconstruction has under consideration the possibility of allocating a limited amount of materials for the construction (by firms in the motor and allied industries) of experimental post-war models, together with granting of the necessary permission to employ a limited amount of labour in such construction.

I am, therefore, to request you to be good enough to send me, as soon as possible, a statement of your requirements in this direction carefully specifying the amount and weight of the different materials you require. I am to remind you that it will only be possible, if at all, to arrange for very limited quantities.

I am,
Yours faithfully,
Horace Wyatt

For the Motor Industry Branch Committee of the Engineering Committee (New Industries) Ministry of Reconstruction.
