ROYAL ARSENAL,
WOOLWICH, S.E. 18. 27th September 1939.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Gentlemen,

Mounting A.A. 40 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} (Bofors)

I have been asked to design a form of attachment to the above mounting so that corrections can be applied to the rear sights of the Forward area Sight.

I understand that one of your staff was recently at Stiffkey at Practice Camp, and discussed this matter with Major Clarke, the Instructor in Gunnery there. As a result I believe you undertook to make some such attachment and that it is now nearly complete.

If this is so, I should be most grateful if you could provide me with an opportunity of seeing either the attachment and/or the drawings.

Yours faithfully,
