X. 673 J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 2-7-14. The first sample of this glass was obtained some considerable time ago, Mr Hives reporting on 7/11/12 that it was turning yellowish in appearance. In July of last year Mr Johnson requested further tests to be made with this glass, and an experimental car was fitted on 17/12/13. In March of this year Messrs Holmes & Co. fitted this glass to 7CA and Mr Royce reported that it was not nice to look through. We attach herewith Mr Haldenby's report on the samples supplied to the Exp. Dept. Handwritten note: War Stop experiments p.
