Messrs.Rolls Royce Limited, Derby. ATTENTION - W.A.ROBOTHAM, ESQ. SPECIAL SAMPLE FRONT BUMPERS F.L.70. Dear Sirs, Mr Breeden showed the writer your letter received yesterday giving your comments on the above samples. We note your remarks and would point out to you that in our letter of the 19th of December, 1939 it was stated that we do not favour the attachment of Bosses to the inside of the Bar as a means of securing the Bar to the Spring as there is a tendency to spoil the surface of the Bar at the points where the Bosses are secured thereto. The matter is being investigated to see if any other method of construction is possible, with a view to obviating the protruding Beetle Bolts and we will, if possible, let you have schemes illustrating this feature by Saturday next, the 9th instant. Yours faithfully, For WILMOT-BREEDEN LIMITED. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Turner LARGEST MANUFACTURERS OF BUMPERS IN EUROPE | ||
