S/W (D) 44-PK. Whilst driving this car on Test on Saturday, 7th March, I damaged the offside rear wing of a stationary car in passing it, and no doubt, a claim will be received in the course of day or so, from the owner as regards this damage. The owner of the other car was not in fault in any way, except that he left his car in such a foolish position, making it a very difficult matter to pass him on an extremely narrow road, which I, unfortunately, failed to succeed quite in doing, and that at a crawling speed, and so damaged his wing. 44 PK - front and rear wings are just touched, but no doubt the Experimental Department will put the very slight damage straight. I have unfortunately lost the name and address and particulars of the car to which this damage was caused, but as the owner has my name and address, I have no doubt he will not fail to communicate these, with his claim, if any.
