Committee decision on testing a beveled guard and a request to design a modified steering column bracket.

are tilted bodily to a larger angle; this would mean scrapping the floor board brackets, but would probably make the best job.

The Committee agreed that we should test the guard having the beveled edge, at present being manufactured, before considering any alteration to the pedals etc, and that if successful, this should be fitted to the cars of this type already delivered.

Will you kindly proceed with designs for a modified steering column bracket which is not so liable to catch the foot as that at present fitted to A & B type; also a scheme for fitting the cross tube in the place of this bracket if you consider same to be advisable.
