We think this should be priced in accordance with these extra details. (15) PETROL PUMP. These are produced outside. We expect to make a saving of 30/- on the pump. (16) BIJUR PIPING. These to be released in accordance with the scheme on 26-G-vi. The additional features which are required are as follows :- (17) FRONT STEERING PIVOTS. The new design with needle bearings at the base of the pivot. (18) GEARBOX. The concertina coupling is to be specified, in addition we require the change speed isolation mechanism to the later type with the spring controlling the lever position on the frame member instead of on the gearbox. G.CD.331. (19) BATTERY. 25/30 Type in accordance with F.CD.466. (20) IGNITION COIL. The RR. type of coil specified. (21) CONNECTING RODS. We have decided to use the flanged type of big end bearing. (22) VALVE GEAR - PUSH RODS. 5/16" diameter push rods to be used. (23) EXHAUST SILENCER AND FITTINGS. This to be the shorter type with one flange joint on the intermediate pipe to prevent it rotating. | ||
