To: Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C.Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} K1429 BY9-P7.4.24. 40/50 CHASSIS SPRINGS. In view of our conversation where it was pointed out by you that Messrs. Firths/springs were giving the same regularity of life and the same duration as those supplied by Messrs. Woodheads, and as we have now come to an arrangement between Messrs. Firths and ourselves which has removed any previous difficulties in regard to Messrs. Firths producing our springs, it will be necessary for the next order of springs to be ordered from Messrs. Firths. Will you kindly arrange to issue a standardisation sheet for signature in order to regularise the position. In the meantime I am hereby instructing Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} to go ahead and place any further orders for 40/50 springs with Messrs. Firths, either for a new series or replacements. BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
