We tried SpectreCodename for Phantom III II body this week-end and the noise from the sun roof was very bad. The catch allowed quite a lot of movement up and down and the fitting of the joint is poor. We cured 99% of the noise in a few moments by putting a strip of plasticine along the joint before closing the roof. The edge of the roof when closed pressed into the plasticine, sealing the joint. A similar joint could be made with sorbo rubber or a rubber tube let in so that the sliding roof when closed presses on the rubber and seals the joint. Messrs. Park Ward have been instructed with regard to the body of E-B-IV. We will inform them to carry out the same on SpectreCodename for Phantom III III. Ha/G.W.Hancock. | ||
