WST x6116 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By/RD. E.1/HP.22.2.35. Failure of P.100 Headlamps. Referring to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.11/MA.21.2.35, there is certainly room for improvement in these P.100 lamps. As you are aware I had a black-out of the headlamps on the Vulture due to the connection wire on the back of the moving reflector breaking away and shorting on to the body of the lamp, thereby blowing the head lamp fuse. We have for a long time desired to have a separate fuse for each head lamp and this has now been arranged on our new fuse board. We shall be interested to see the modifications you have arranged in conjunction with Mr Neill as soon as models are available. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
