To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} r6116. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer};15/KW. 21.2.35. Attached is correspondence relating to the failure of the P.100 Headlamps in France. I think that their attitude is very unreasonable, and propose that either you or I should take the matter up with Oliver Lucas. After all, we make the chassis stand up to the stress of these French conditions, and we are not asking Lucas's products to put up with more than we expect the remaining chassis components to withstand.
