AXLE PIVOTS FOR 10HP CARS.

INSTRUCTIONS.

With regard to the track of the 10HP cars, I can find several different tracks on the early pattern differing by several inches both on front & rear wheels. on some cases the front & rear wheels were not alike.
The old drg. says show 78 3/4 but the figures on the tracings appear to have been re-established & altered several times.
I therefore suggest that it would be best to leave the drawing of the jaws on to the A. {Mr Adams} tube till we get hold of the cars, & that they can be made to suit.
Some of the old axle tubes are 1 1/2" dia whilst are 1 3/4". I suggest that the 1 1/2" tubes should be replaced by 1 3/4", as the smaller tubes have bent on several occasions.
Signed: A. {Mr Adams} L. Chandler.
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
