S/W. HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} Re: Side Lever Mechanism - 40/50 HP. We are in receipt of your HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/Cgh{W Clough}31/G12.10.26. and are sorry to note the whole of the outside material has been delivered for C.2.B. series Chassis and is sufficiently advanced to render it impossible to introduce the new side lever mechanism unless some scrap is made. We do not appear to know here what the series description is of Chassis after C.2.B. series and shall be glad if you will let us have this information. We understand that the new type side lever mechanism will commence from whatever series that may be. Re. use of B. type lever on Chassis with C. steering. S. are satisfied that they definitely wish to have this. You will remember you supplied B. type lever for us to try on 11.HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} It was considered advantageous and should also simplify production as the B. type lever would then be used on both the B. and C. columns. WW. were advised and we therefore see nothing to prevent standardisation being issued. | ||
