Dear Sir,

Attached please find the readings taken with Hotpoint Heaters on an "Eagle" Rolls-Royce engine.

We had considerable trouble in getting reliable readings owing to short circuiting at the Heaters. This was due to the presence of water which leaked through one of the heaters on to the plug. It was found that the slightest dampness was sufficient to cause this trouble.
