TESTS WITH HOTPOINT HEATERS ON ROLLS-ROYCE ENGINES.

Note:- The heaters used were two 500 watt connected in series 200V

Thermometers were placed in circuit as follows:-
No.1. Immediately above Heater.
No.2. No.6 Cylinder water jacket outlet.
No.3. No.1 Cylinder water jacket outlet.
No.4. The highest point of the water system, in this case the top of radiator.
No.5. Air Temperature. ºC.
