To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X9430 Hsl/LG17.11.23. E.A.C. - PENDULUM LEVERS. X9430 We have broken an E.A.C. Pendulum Lever on the bumping test. This failed after 17 hrs. running. This is a worse result than we obtained with the old type pendulum levers which we are at present changing free of cost. We suggest that we should go slow on pendulum levers until the design has been reconsidered. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
