87120. A/S To W.R. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Continental Phantom. Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} We recently sent our Trials car, No.31-GX to Paris for two or three weeks for some demonstration work. Apparently they lent it to Mons.Pierre Delage who, as you probably know, is the som of Mons.Delage Senior. He apparently gave it a fairly extensive test and has made out a most interesting report, copy of which is enclosed and which I feel sure you will like to read. I should be glad if Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would say whether the two charge scheme as now fitted to the 40/50 chassis overcomes the trouble to which Mr.Delage refers. I know that I have this scheme on 58-GN but I do not drive the car sufficiently at night to obtain any data on this point. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Enq. Copy of letter from Mons.Pierre Delage. | ||
