TRANSLATION OF COVERING LETTER FROM MR. PIERRE DELAGE
RELATING TO THE ATTACHED REPORT.

Sirs,

I attach hereto the report on the test made, thanks to your kindness, on Saturday and Sunday last with your Continental model.

The conclusion of this trial, without any flattery, is that the car that you have been kind enough to lend to me is the most beautiful vehicle, presenting on almost all points the maximum of qualities realised up to the present moment.

The only two real difficulties, and which would be unacceptable for a car realising this speed and for a driver using it around an average of 70 (kilometres) - which would be entirely normal - are the vibration at 54 to 57 miles, which I think is particular to this single chassis, and the connection and disconnection at a regime much too low of the dynamo, which made us, at the end of 1000 kilometers, to re-enter Paris with x very feeble lighting and without a starter.

I am happy if my conclusions are able to be of use to you, and thanking you again for your extreme kindness.

I am,

Yours faithfully,

PIERRE DELAGE.
