| S/W To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Bentley Clutch. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}5/E12.3.36 Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E.RV. I am in receipt of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/KW.10.3.36. I have re-read Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/KW.19.11.35 and in view of the information given there relative to the inferiority of the RR clutch as compared with the Borg and Beck clutch standardised for the 4¼-litre Bentley, I do not agree to any action being taken at this juncture to use the RR clutch on the 4¼-litre Bentley. The matter will come up for discussion at the next conference. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
