We show on N.Sch.4781 herewith a temporary bracket for use with this scheme which will enable a trial to be made without alteration to the gearbox casting. The idler lever is dropped down bodily .175 and the tension rod to the pedal is in consequence not exactly parallel to the link between the engine and the pedal shaft, but we do not think that this will matter. As regards the clutch casing an existing 25-30 casing can be machined as required for the lever on the clutch operating shaft. The alteration to the lubrication boss which we ask for is only required for the 25-30. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
