If aluminium welding is as satisfactory as steel welding, then possibly the best way to make a very light body at a reasonable price, would be to have a Duralumin framework with Duralumin panels.

The assembly would then be all spot-welding.

In this connection we should like to know the cost of assembling aluminium panels on the present steel shell.
