20/25 EXIDE BATTERY TYPE 6-SSM7-IL.

The moulded lid{A. J. Lidsey} of one of the two of the above type new batteries recently received from the Chloride Co. has been accidentally cracked whilst fitted to chassis 18-GIV in the experimental dept.

These lids are very fragile as compared with the 40/50 6-volt unit lid{A. J. Lidsey} and are easily cracked. Will you please obtain another lid{A. J. Lidsey} for us and also half a dozen spare lid{A. J. Lidsey} screws. We would like to suggest to Chlorides that these lid{A. J. Lidsey} screws be fitted with a retaining ring in order to prevent losing them when the lid{A. J. Lidsey} is removed from the battery.
