Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/LG13.9.22. X3535 ? X3971 OILLESS BEARING - FRONT ENGINE SUPPORT. 7-Goshawk-11 has just returned from France after running nearly 16,000 miles. The oilless bush for the front engine support has worn very badly. There is now .030 to .040" slack at that point. We examined our other cars and find none as bad. The bump chassis shows .015" slack. It would appear however, that the oilless bushes are not going to be a success and perhaps the safest thing to do would be to fit a phosphor bronze bush with a lubricator. We are sending the worn bush to WW. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
