Further to BYI-P51222, the Works inform us that they have a large number of valves in the finished state, therefore instead of modifying the diameter of the valve stems as suggested in the above memo we shall have to reduce the valve guides in the bore to give the limits specified, and this will be done by producing a special undersize reamer.
