RE CHASSIS FRAME ON BUMPING TEST.

With reference to the sample of the chassis frame fractured by means of the bump test, sent to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town, it is thought that the breakage began at the bolt holes for the radiator bracket, and Mr. Royce would like you to try washers of the special frame type under the bolts.

These same washers perhaps ought also to be applied to the bolts securing the engine foot bracket.
