CYLINDER BORE FIGURES.

Further to our conversation of October 7th.

We wish to ascertain how cylinder bore wear figures of the 4¼ Bentley compare with the 3½ litre Bentley in relation to the following.

(1) Is the maximum wear figure for a given mileage, worse on the 4¼ litre?

(2) Is the position of maximum wear in the bore the same on both engines.

We believe that measurements are taken at three points in the bore, and would be obliged therefore if you could supply average figures of the three positions for a given mileage on both chassis.
