Steering Column & Box. --------------------- In view of R's recent strictures in regard to the cast aluminium dash, with which we fully agree, and which we intended to raise in any case, namely, the difficulties of manufacture, as it is impossible to make castings of these dimensions without surface flaws or marks of some description, we have issued the steering column and box suitable for a sheet metal dash. If any change is intended here, kindly inform us. 5. Petrol Tank. Section 7080. -------------------------- We would like to have some information in regard to your petrol tank proposals. 6. Pedals. Section 7100. ----------------------- We have no information about these. If it happens they should be the same as EAC.VIII, and will kindly let us know, we will set about dealing with the matter. 7. Exhaust Cut-out. Section 7120. ------------------------------ No information, but if to be made like the latest New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I, we will handle this matter at Derby if required. 8. Dashbrackets and Footboards. --------------------------- These again may be similar to EAC.VIII. If so, we will make the lay-outs and get on with the job. Some changes, however, may be required. It is necessary to let us know just what is proposed. 9. Autovac and Piping. --------------------- Here again we anticipate it will be like EAC.VIII. but should like it confirmed, when we will deal with same. 10.
