Reference your BY/Cgh{W Clough}8/G8.4.31. in view of the very small demand now experienced for 'C' columns, which may give rise ultimately to the dropping of this particular column altogether, we are satisfied that there is no justification for making any modification to the levers at all, and we would rather these remained standard as at present. As previously reported, we see no advantage in setting-in the 'D' type, and can only see any advantage at all by setting-in the 'C', but this 'C' column is not of sufficient importance now to warrant any change being made.
