-2- Regarding the modifications to the thermometer which you have loaned us, these consist of (a) Correcting the instrument for accuracy, it has an error of 20C. at present. (b) Modifying the bulb to fit our cylinder head, we wish to be able to screw the bulb in our cylinder head in place of our part ES3188 ( drawing attached), i.e. the thread on the bulb should be screwed, .750" diameter 20 T.P.I - R.H. Further we should like the hexagon reduced in size if possible, as we wish to keep the weight of the instrument to a minimum. The writer has passed on the information your representative gave us concerning petrol gauges to our Mr. West, who deals with that side of the instrument section.
