X6003 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.18/MA. 4th August, 1936. Messrs.H.M.Hobson Components, Ltd., 47-55, The Vale, Acton, London, W.3. For the attention of Mr.Seawright. Dear Sir, Further to our conversation with your representative Mr.Reigate, we would mention that the type of instrument which we use at present is a combined water thermometer and oil pressure gauge as shown on our drg. D.75213 attached. We are going to fit the single instrument which you have loaned us (and which Mr.Reigate is having modified) to a car for test purposes, but in order to run your instrument on one of our standardisation tests, it would be necessary to have a dual instrument of the type described above, further the actual instrument as fitted into the dash board would have to be identical in dimensions with that shown on D.75213 attached. We should like to know whether you could make a dual instrument, and retain actual instrument dimensions shown on our drawing D.75213, as any other size would necessitate re-design of our instrument panel. | ||
