Re. Fitting of Shock Absorbers on 1.LW.

When Toon arrived on this job he found the ball ends which should be fitted to the brackets on the axle tubes, were not fitted.

He wired to Mr.Hives for these ball ends, and Mr.Hives sent down another man with these parts. Also the holes were not drilledin the frame for the new petrol tank brackets.

They tell me this is quite a big job to get the ball ends into the brackets now that the brakes are in place on the axle, and it will very likely mean they will have to take the brakes clean off the axle in order to get at them. They are now on the job at Barkers, and I will report further as the job progresses.
