SECRET.

SpectreCodename for Phantom III Rear Axle - Pinion Oil Seal

Herewith is N.Sch.4594 showing a screw oil retainer similar to that standard on Phantom 2, Bentley, etc.

This is to replace the "Perfect Oil Seal" retainer now used, and should be fitted to the 2nd SpectreCodename for Phantom III to go to France.

The only new pieces are the outer cover and the locking piece for the bearing nut, both being only slightly modified from the present pieces.

The existing propeller shaft flange piece is modified only by having a thread cut on its boss.

Everything else is unchanged, including the drain from the oil retainer.
