We are going to use the engine out of 3.B.IV. for this work. Will you please fit to it the spring driven cam pinion Ex.11368 but first slotted in accordance with the attached Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1047 so that we can try the effect of an additional inertia slipping or fixed. We will then hand the engine to the gear quieteners with this pinion solid and the crankdamper normal for them to do their best before we try to eliminate the rattles.
