x411 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}2/HP.22.6.33. Bentley Timing Gears. -------------------- We send you herewith: LeC.3532 and LeC.3535. The first drawing deals with all the gears and drives suitable for a Fabroil camshaft wheel. LeC.3535 shows the Fabroil camshaft wheel. To make it quite clear we give below the general particulars of each gear separately: Camshaft Wheel. Scheme 1. LeC.3535. 54 teeth, 10 DP, Spiral Angle 39°31' to be made in Fabroil. Crankshaft Pinion. 27 teeth. This means a new piece in place of E 59545 damper wheel, using studs instead of bolts, and the fixing of the pinion to this piece. Dynamo Pinion. 27 teeth. You will notice a provision is made for our usual damper pads. It will be necessary on the experimental set to chisel out two small bosses on the inside of the wheelcase to make room for this larger pinion. Idler Wheel. 35 teeth. The axle of E.54766 for this wheel is altered in its position relative to the bolt holes, the centre being moved upwards .137". Water Pump Drive Pinion. 18 teeth. You will notice that we have chamfered off the sides of the gear blanks to prevent the formation of burrs when cutting the teeth. Should you need further particulars for cutting the gears please let us know. We should like this job to be pushed through with a hope of getting it on the next 10,000 miles car. E/JNR.{Charles L.
