| -2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.20/KW.30.4.36. These figures confirm the theory that there is a weakest direction for "Hyco". We are pleased to see that the joint does not appear to cause a weakness in "No.6". The actual centrifugal stress with the clutch disengaged at top engine speed is 2000 lbs/sq.in. for "Hyco" and 1280 lbs/sq.in. for "No.6" (less owing to its lower density).
