To C. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Y5820 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG19.3.28. BALLOON TYRES ON 20 HP. X4565 With reference to C4/C18.3.27. 20 HP. cars already issued will not be fitted with the low geared worm and nut. We consider that under these conditions the 6" tyres will definitely make the steering heavy. If the customer appreciates this point and in spite of it desires the large tyre, we have no objection to them being fitted. We are sending a standardisation sheet round for these tyres.
