Recommending the standardisation of the Bentley top water connection to match the 25/30 and Phantom III models for cost savings.

We note that on the Bentley car, the top water connection still retain the 'C' nut and union etc. (at the lower end of the top water pipe) which we have deleted on the grounds of cost on the 25/30.HP. car. We see no reason why the Bentley should differ from the 25/30. in this respect or why we should use a piece of copper tube, two rubber connections and four jubilee clips on the Bentley instead of one rubber connection and two jubilee clips as on 25/30. and Ph.III.

We recommend therefore that a scheme identical to that on the 25/30. should be standardised immediately on the Bentley - this would give a saving of approximately 5/- per car. The standardisation test on the 25/30. car should cover this change on Bentley.
