To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} [Handwritten]: 8 7120. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/MJ.17.11.32. re. 19-EX. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E.16.11.32. The engine in 19-EX. has run approximately 25,000 miles without being dismantled. We think this is sufficient to discount the piston knock which is there when cold. We have not altered the pistons or clearances. There is one other feature on 19-EX. we should like Sales to be aware of and that is, it is fitted with the latest D.W.S. jacks which we are proposing to standardise. A Standardisation Sheet has just been issued. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
