Bentley Chassis 6-B-IV.

In accordance with instructions received in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}12/AP.29.12.36. we have prepared for fitting to the above Car 1-Ex.17856 Pendulumn Lever.

We wish you to note this lever has been made from a Hand Forgingn and should only be used under very normal conditions. On no account must it be used for high speed work, otherwise our responsibility ceases.

It is now well within the Drawing Limits, and has been magnetically tested for cracks, and is painted red.
