RE: BENTLEY FRONT AXLE CONTROL DAMPER ANCHORAGE TO N.S. 3770.

When 4. B. IV. came into the Shop for examination following Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s complaint regarding brake judders, both Front Axle Control Damper Anchorages were found to be loose on the axle.

Investigation shewed this to be due to the failure of the Control Link Spindles FB. 648, which had sheared at the point where the diameter is reduced from .600 to .500, as shewn below.

The Experimental features to N.S. 3770 were therefore removed and replaced by the standard anchorage to LOP. FB. 1048.
