MODIFIED ANGLE TO BUTTERFLY THROTTLE & MODIFIED CONTROLS TO CLEAR BONNET. Origin. To prevent throttle sticking and damage to controls. Experimental Test Report. We have frequent complaints of the throttle sticking - the increased angle will reduce this. The modification to controls is to avoid damage if the bonnet is closed with the mixture lever in the strong position. Road Test Report. Fitted to 8-EX. It is very convenient to bring in the roller bearing throttle altered angle of butterfly and altered controls at the same time because they each demand modification to same piece on the carburetter.
