B.3 and B.50. REVISED RADIATOR.

You have received the design of the radiator for B.50 and although the external appearance of this radiator is cancelled the internal general design still holds good substantially.

We have produced on FD {Frank Dodd - Bodies} 's 164, 165, 166 and 171 a new radiator for B.111 using this cheapened B.50 design and most parts are common.

On FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} 178 we shew the original B.50 radiator internals, modified to line them up with the revised B.3 radiator, to give the greatest degree of interchangeability.

As it is now agreed that B.50 shall have the B.111 radiator only 1.500 higher, we have shewn on FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} 176 the new B.50 shell.

It is proposed to fit this shell to the radiator internals, suitably modified, already constructed at Messrs, Serckstone, and to fit it to 1-B-50 in the place of the ultra sloping shell of FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} 151 and steps have been taken in this matter.

A revised B.3 radiator should be put in hand as soon as possible for 2-B-5.
