Drake Lock-Nut Co., Folsom Street at Tenth, San Francisco, Cal.{Mr Calvert} Gentlemen: In reply to your letter of July 29th we are now able to state that the tests we have made with your lock-nuts have proven to our entire satisfaction. Previous to installing these nuts on our steam hammers we always have had trouble in the nuts being shaken loose by the vibrations. Since we installed your lock nut we have had no occasion to tighten up on these nuts. They are as tight now as they were the first day they were put on the hammers and we are now using these nuts on all important work requiring lock nuts.
