In the meanwhile we should like to point out that too much importance should not be paid to the efficiency curves given on the blue print enclosed because these figures entirely neglect the time element, which undoubtedly has a bearing upon the smooth action of the Bishop Gear, due to the damping effect of the oil film between the rocker shaft and its cover plate.
