Copy to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Wyman. Noted [signature] 20/25 H.P. Floor Boards. With reference to the gas-tightening of the change speed and brake levers on the 25 H.P. chassis, with the introduction of the gear gate mounted on the frame, it will be recalled that it has been agreed that the Coachbuilder should supply the horizontal floor board in the proximity of these features. It will be seen from the Minutes of the Coachwork Meeting held in Derby on Friday last, ref: E/1/HP.3.12.35, that it was agreed that the gas-tightening should be done by means of gaiters. It was agreed that on the Coachbuilders' chassis print a gaiter should be shown round each of these levers, with a note to the effect that these gaiters must be fitted in such a manner as to render the levers gas tight, in the recommended manner. It is not intended that we should supply a drawing of how to construct the gaiter at this moment. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
