Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Mths.{Reg Matthews} Kingsbury - 7.4.37. I am sending you figures of cylinder wear which you will observe are excessive for the mileage, almost a .001 for 1000 miles. There is no complaint of excessive oil consumption, and as the car came in for top decarb only it has not been dismantled, the bottom measurements of the bores not being taken. There have been two owners, the first apparent- ly careless about oil as the car came into Kingsbury at 2000 miles on the short side of oil. No knowledge of how the car is driven is known.
