-2- (4) Horns. Although we have not so far produced a set of satisfactory high frequency horns of 100 phons, which is now the maximum permitted, we propose fitting to this car a pair of normal high frequency horns, as we do not know how to house effectively the wind tone horns. (5) Screen Wiper. The screen wiper will be a standard Lucas. (6) Rear Number Plate. As already stated, this should be a standard Cornercroft. (7) Instruments. We understand that the chassis is equipped with a set of instruments which although may not be correct in detail are correct in size. We are sending to M.Paulin a print of the B.5. instrument board arrangement and indicating to him that this is the general layout we prefer, but do not expect him to work to it in detail. We are relying on BY/HD.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} to obtain this material and supply it to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} for despatch with the chassis. The following are the chassis accessories, and chassis special features, which should be supplied:- (1) The radiator should consist of a matrix with tanks in the yoke, the yoke should be equipped with wing stays and headlamp tubes, together with the spherical sockets etc. There is no need for brackets for the horns or lamps. (2) Centre floorboard should be fitted. (3) The special petrol tank should be fitted. A design for the filler is almost completed and we hope will be ready. Cont'd..... | ||
