Messrs.Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: Mock-up of B.50. We confirm that we saw F.S.D. of this and that we wish you to eliminate the elephant back appearance to the rear boot and quarter of the Six Light and Four Light bodies. The junction between the boot and rear panel should be a square corner. We thank you for your CWW/JMV. of the 9th.inst. and confirm our remarks also made during our visit that it is not permissible to make a special rear wing for the Four-light body as shewn on your drawing No.13415. We note your remarks re the necessity of producing a new horse for this purpose, and also the estimated cost of the mock-up, and wish you to proceed. The matter of cost will form the subject of a separate memo. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS. | ||
