Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to your letter of 14th August, and our reply of 15th August, we now have pleasure in giving you the under-mentioned information.

We are now in production of the Special 33 x 6.75 size, suitable for well base wheels.

We have specially designed the tread of this particular size to be reasonably silent, and at the same time, to provide an effective resistance against skidding.

For your information, we are sending you a section cut from one of these 33 x 6.75 India Super Tyres, together with a section cut from the Dunlop Type, which you so kindly sent us.

We ask you to submit these sections to any tests you may consider advisable.

The more ways in which you test them, the more satisfactory it will be to us.

We shall be pleased to supply you with a set of these 33 x 6.75 India Super Tyres for test purposes, at the same prices as, we understand, Dunlops are charging their chassis manufacturers for their standard tyres, viz:- £4.10/- for complete cover and tube, less 3¾% cash, 2½% monthly account.

We willingly accept the condition specified in your letter of 14th August, to the effect that, if during the first 100 miles, they showed up faults, which made them unsuitable for Rolls-Royce cars, you are to have the right to return them to us without any charge to yourself.
