STARTER MOTOR.

The starter motor has not given any definite trouble. It has slipped for a short period when engaged with the engine cold.

PETROL TANK.

The rear petrol tank and its supports are in a good condition. No leaks of petrol have been observed.

BODYWORK.

The body work has kept in excellent condition. Slight rattles have developed in the doors but generally speaking this body is the best example that has been run in France. It is the only occasion that no attention has been paid to the wings stays or the wings themselves. The chief fault with this body is the cheap door locks. The lock catches are not let into the wood and are only held by brass wood screws. We have had two occasions when the heads of the wood screws have broken off and the doors have flown open when travelling at a fairly high speed. We have replaced the brass screws by steel screws, but this does not overcome a feature which we consider to be dangerous. The Sunshine Roof has on several occasions been used with beneficial results. There has not, during the very heavy storms that we have experienced, been any sign of water entering the roof. The rear luggage grid has been quite satisfactory.
